Internship Opportunity from University Press of Florida

Curious about designing for the book business? Would you like to see your work appear in publications like The New York Review of Books and The Chronicle Review? Would you like to see it circulate among an audience of over 3.5 million people--including representatives of some of the biggest media in America, publishers, booksellers, and individuals from coast to coast?

The intern will be based in our marketing department, and will have a chance to work on trade ad, flyer and catalog design. He/She will work closely with and be supervised by the Advertising and Direct Mail Manager, and will have the chance to work with the press's two full-time designers (who have over 40 years combined experience in art and graphic design at publishing houses).

JGI's micro credit programs, in cooperation with local government and industries, present economic alternatives to those who formerly supported their families through poaching and market sale activities.
