Sarah Morgan  /  Hello World

This piece is a book cover for a new age hypothetical book entitled “Hello World”. Hello World with programming references symbolizes the new age of technology and networking of the internet and thus, is informing people to wake up and log into what grounds us and is all around us (The Internet). This book entails countless web sites and overall, the daily occupation of today’s Online Ac- tivist. This book ironically plays with the idea that print is dying and the upcoming importance of the web.

Jarrod Tredway  /  Sustainable Produce Packaging

Designed as an alternative to traditional Styrofoam™ and plastic packaging, this container - made from post-consumer material - was inspired by a printed instruction suggesting the best way to store mushrooms is actually in a brown paper bag. This solution still allows the consumer to inspect the contents, yet also provides reusable and recyclable temporary storage. The brand name is original and the text-driven nature was motivated by typography concepts.

Sydney Wallace  /  The World According to Student Bloopers

The design of this booklet was based around the content of the literature, student history essays that contain a comical array of bloopers. The illustrative font and color scheme choice are evocative in the way that it supports the playful and yet peculiar material within the book itself.
